GEO tools mostly measure whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI name you. Bing and Google now show part of that for free. Pay only for daily history, or to see who gets named instead of you.
| Tool | Cheapest | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance | Free | When Copilot and Bing's AI answers cite your pages, and the searches the AI ran to find them. |
| Google Search Console AI reports | Free | Impressions in AI Overviews and AI Mode, by page. Still rolling out to some sites. |
| HubSpot AI Search Grader | Free, once | A 0 to 100 score across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. A snapshot, not tracking. |
| Otterly.AI Lite | $25/mo yearly; $29 monthly | 15 prompts daily on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot. Gemini extra. |
| SE Visible Basic | $71/mo yearly; $89 monthly | 75 prompts daily, 5 engines incl. Gemini and AI Mode. No Perplexity. |
| Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit | $99/mo | 25 prompts, 1 domain. Best if you already use Semrush. |
Green = where to start: the two free reports, then Otterly if you want daily tracking.

Verify your site in Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console. Bing's AI Performance report (in preview since February 2026) even lists the searches the AI ran before citing you. Those are the exact phrases to write pages for.
Ask the questions your buyers ask, like "best invoicing app for freelancers", and see who gets named. HubSpot's grader gives a score; Pressfront's free AI report shows which businesses ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI name instead.
Otterly is the cheapest real daily tracker. SE Visible gives 5 times the prompts for about 3 times the price. Semrush's toolkit makes sense if you already pay for Semrush.
No tracker changes what AI says. Other real sites naming you, and your own pages answering buyer questions plainly, do. More on that below.
The chance that ChatGPT or Google's AI gives the same list of brands twice for the same question, in SparkToro's test of about 3,000 prompts. One manual check proves very little.
These are built for marketing teams and agencies, and priced like it.
They measure where you stand, and none of them gets another site to mention you.
Pressfront is a done-for-you service, not a dashboard.
Pressfront makes Trace, which shows who is talking about you online and where it started, and Get Found, which helps online businesses show up on Google and in AI answers.

Mostly a tracker. It asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI the questions you choose, on a schedule, and shows whether your business is named and who is named instead. A few also write content.
Usually not at first. Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console now show some AI data for free. A paid tracker is worth it once you want daily history or to watch competitors.
Free: Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance, Google Search Console and HubSpot's AI Search Grader. Paid: Otterly.AI Lite at $25 a month billed yearly ($29 monthly) for 15 prompts checked daily.
No tool can promise that. Trackers measure. What tends to move the number is other real sites mentioning your business, plus your own pages answering buyer questions plainly.
