Is my business on ChatGPT?

To find out, ask ChatGPT to recommend the best companies in your category, then see if your name comes up. If it doesn't, you're not alone, and it usually isn't about quality.

Check if AI knows your business, freeLive across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI. About a minute. No signup.

How to check in under a minute

Open ChatGPT and ask a real buyer question, phrased the way a customer would: "best [your category] in [your city]" or "who should I hire for [what you do]?" Read the answer and see whether your business is named. Try it two or three ways, because the same prompt can return different names on different runs.

That manual check works, but it's slow and only covers one engine. The free AI Visibility Report runs many of these prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI at once and tells you how often you're named, who gets named instead, and where your name shows up today.

Why your business might not be there

AI engines recommend businesses that independent, credible pages describe. ChatGPT doesn't "know" you from your own website alone; it names businesses that news sites, directories, and review platforms have written about, because those are the sources it trusts. So a genuinely great business with little third-party coverage often gets left out, while competitors who've been written up get recommended.

It's rarely that your competitors are better. It's that they'd been written up somewhere AI reads, and you hadn't.

How to get on ChatGPT

The move is to get accurate, consistent descriptions of your business published on the sites AI already reads, so that when someone asks, the model finds a clear story about you everywhere it looks. That's what Pressfront does, and you can start by seeing exactly where you stand:
