Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 September 2026 · Pressfront LLC (Tampa, Florida)

This policy explains what information Pressfront LLC ("Pressfront", "we", "us") collects when you use pressfront.co, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this plain and honest, the same way we run the service.

Short version: we collect what we need to distribute your press release and support you, we process payments through Stripe (we never see your full card number), we do not sell your personal information, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@pressfront.co.

1. Who we are

Pressfront LLC is a press-release distribution service based in Tampa, Florida, United States. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, contact us at support@pressfront.co.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and account details: your name, email address, company name, and website when you request a quote, place an order, create an account, or contact support.
  • Order and story content: the announcement, article, links, and any material you submit for distribution. You are responsible for having the right to publish what you submit.
  • Messages: anything you send us through the on-site chat or by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: anonymous checkout-funnel steps (for example: package selected, checkout opened) and, from ordinary web requests, your IP address, collected to run and secure the site. Our hosting providers keep their own standard access logs.
  • Funnel analytics: we record anonymous steps in the checkout funnel (for example: package selected, checkout opened, add-on toggled) with no more than an optional order reference. If you have a Google Analytics tag active in your browser session, standard analytics events may also fire.
  • Local storage: we store small values in your browser (such as your draft order and chat identifier) so the site works across pages. This is functional, not advertising.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers. We receive a confirmation, the amount, and limited details such as your name and email to fulfil the order.

3. How we use your information

  • To write (when selected), format, and distribute your press release, and to deliver your live links and coverage report.
  • To take payment, issue receipts, and handle refunds under our guarantee.
  • To provide support and respond to your messages, including AI-assisted chat answers that a person can take over.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site.
  • To send you service messages about your order. These are the emails you should expect: an order confirmation, your draft release with an approve link (plus one reminder if we have not heard back, and a notice if the draft is auto-approved after 2 days), a receipt when you approve, and your coverage report. If you contacted us or bought from us, we may also follow up by email about your order; you can opt out of non-essential email at any time.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Pressfront, under their own privacy terms:

  • Stripe - payment processing.
  • Supabase - database and application hosting for orders, leads, chat, and accounts.
  • Vercel - website hosting and content delivery.
  • Resend - sending our transactional email (order confirmation, your draft for approval and its reminder, approval receipts, and your coverage-report delivery). Replies go to our support inbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. An internal copy of some transactional emails may be retained by us for support and records.
  • News-distribution networks - to distribute your release we submit its text and the public contact details you approved (contact name, title, phone if given, company, website) to the newswire or syndication services in your package. That content is public by design: it is a press release.
  • AI provider (for support and drafting) - when you use our on-site chat, your messages may be processed by a third-party AI service to suggest an answer; a person can take over at any time. When we draft your release, we may use an AI writing tool. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
  • Google (Gmail) - we connect a business Gmail inbox to manage correspondence. Where enabled, replies to our outreach may be summarized to track their status; we do not use this to train AI models, and you can ask us to remove your contact record.
  • Content delivery networks - our pages load fonts and some assets from providers such as Google Fonts, which receive your IP address as part of serving those files.
  • Distribution partners - to publish your release, we submit the story and the company details you provide to the newswire and syndication networks that fulfil your package. Only what is needed to publish is shared.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We store small values in your browser (local storage), including a chat identifier and a copy of your recent chat messages on your own device, so the widget works across pages. This is functional, not advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep order and account records for as long as your account is active and as needed for our guarantee, tax, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your personal data, and we will do so except where we must retain limited records by law (for example, payment and tax records).

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, email support@pressfront.co; we aim to respond within 45 days (and will tell you if we need longer, as some laws allow). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If you are in the EU/UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (SSL) and reputable providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Pressfront is a business service not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. International visitors

We operate from the United States. If you access the site from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be noted on this page.
